De Paul
Green
De Paul House is named after our patron St Vincent de Paul.
St Vincent de Paul dedicated his life to the love, charity and service of those in need. Displayed on the House banner are two figures that symbolise the sharing of the Eucharist and in the life and teachings of Jesus.

De Vialar
Red
De Vialar House is named after St Emilie de Vialar, who founded the congregation of the Sisters of St Joseph of the Apparition. Displayed on the De Vialar banner is a cross symbolising Christ is at the centre of our hearts. The two letter ‘S’ facing each other form a heart to represent the Sisters of St Joseph of the Apparition, the first teachers at St Vincent’s School. The lily symbolises St Joseph who was asked to be the human face of God to Mary, Jesus and all people.

Harper
Gold
Harper House is named after Father Harper who was the foundation priest of St Vincent’s Parish and School. Displayed on the House banner is a hammer that represents Father Harper physically working alongside the builders and community volunteers to build the original school in Medina. The cross and candles highlight his priesthood, his sharing of Christ and his light within our community.
The Harper Mantra is

MacKillop
Blue
MacKillop House is named after St Mary of the Cross MacKillop. Mary dedicated her life to the work of Jesus and was canonised as Australia’s first Saint. Displayed on the House banner is a monogram, A stands for Ave and M for Maria. The Ave Maria or Hail Mary represents Mary MacKillop’s order – the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart. The Southern Cross and gumnuts are uniquely Australian symbolising Mary’s work in the Australian outback with a book representing her endeavours in education.
The MacKillop mantra is
