Integrating ICT

The St Vincent’s Information Technology Plan has facilitated the placement of iMac computers, iPads, LCD televisions and the application of interactive technology throughout the whole School.  We also have a lab of 32 MacBooks that are utilised by all grade levels across the school.

Through the integration of ICT into the curriculum and teaching pedagogy, the students have the opportunity to develop many capabilities as they learn to use ICT effectively in this digital age in which we live. Students are given the chance to communicate information and ideas, solve problems and work collaboratively while gaining technological skills to use in their lives beyond school.

In 2017, St Vincent's have introduced a Bring Your Own Device Programme (BYOD) for Year 4 students. You can find more information about this initiative by viewing the school's 'Ipad Management Plan' found under the 'Policies' tab.
